Sales terms in preparation. Appointment of a consumer mediator remains outstanding. This text does not replace the terms governing an existing purchase.

1. Operator and scope

SLOT Tech SAS, a French société par actions simplifiée with share capital of €100, operates Arie. Registered office: 122 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris, France. RCS Paris: 941 485 211. VAT number: FR42941485211. Contact: support@arie.guide; +33 7 75 76 76 81.

These terms govern the use of the Arie website and application and the purchase of Arie credit packs by consumers. The purchase provisions are our conditions of sale. A separate written agreement applies where we enter into a creator or business collaboration.

The version made available when you place an order governs that order. These terms do not exclude or limit any mandatory consumer protection. The Privacy policy describes personal-data processing; accepting these terms is not consent to optional tracking or marketing.

2. What Arie provides

Arie is a place-discovery service. You can request suggestions based on your interests and travel context, explore information about places, and save or organise your finds using the available features. It is not a promise of a complete itinerary, admission, a reservation or a particular travel outcome.

Some suggestions and descriptions are produced with automated systems or AI. Check opening hours, prices, accessibility, entry conditions and other important details directly with the venue before relying on them. These limitations do not exclude our responsibility to supply a service that conforms to the contract.

3. Accounts and technical access

Use accurate account information and protect access to your sign-in provider. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for your own lawful use of the service, but these terms do not make you automatically responsible for every unauthorised act involving your account.

Arie is accessed over the internet through a compatible web browser. Your device and internet charges remain your responsibility. Material compatibility restrictions, usage limits and paid feature restrictions are shown with the offer before purchase.

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to open an Arie account and purchase credits. An adult arranging a family trip remains the account holder; choosing Family or Kids does not create a child’s account.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Arie to break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, upload unlawful material, impersonate others, or gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts. Do not deliberately disrupt the service or circumvent payment, security or usage limits.

Report allegedly unlawful or infringing content to support@arie.guide with its exact URL, your explanation and evidence, your name and email, and a good-faith statement of accuracy and completeness. Identity details are not required where the law provides an exception for reports of child sexual abuse material. For copyright reports, identify the work and rights involved.

We acknowledge reports and communicate decisions and available remedies without undue delay. Content or account restrictions are explained with their reason, scope and duration, and any relevant use of automation. To request review, reply with the decision reference and your reasons; this does not prevent judicial remedies.

5. Your content, shared lists and public guides

You retain the rights you hold in the guides, notes, links and other material you submit. You grant SLOT Tech a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, technically adapt and display that material only as needed to operate the features you request, including sharing with recipients you choose or making a guide publicly available when you choose to publish it. Relevant service providers may process it for those purposes.

This permission does not transfer ownership or give us a general right to sell your content or use it in advertisements. It lasts only as needed to provide the requested service, subject to lawful retention and backup handling described in the Privacy policy.

Publish only original content you created and own. Do not upload or republish another person’s text, photographs, illustrations or other protected material as your contribution. Giving attribution or adding a copyright notice does not make that upload permitted. This rule does not prevent use of Arie-provided features for saving or sharing places and material made available within the service. Respect other people’s privacy and image rights even in content you created yourself.

Published guides are publicly accessible and may appear in search engines, together with the author information displayed on the guide. Check the content and visibility before publishing. Publication does not require you to assign ownership to SLOT Tech. Removing a guide cannot immediately remove search-engine caches or copies retained by others. Arie currently sells credits, not paid creator guides.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for complying with these rules. Hosting a user guide does not mean SLOT Tech endorses its statements. Our responsibility for user-provided content is governed by applicable law; these terms do not remove our own duties to respond to sufficiently substantiated reports of unlawful content or to comply with binding orders.

6. Credits and placing an order

Arie offers one-time credit packs, with no recurring subscription for these packs. Credits pay for new Arie recommendations; they are not money, a bank balance or a payment instrument for bookings with other providers.

One new, unique recommendation card successfully added, saved and made available in your results costs 10 credits. An initial result contains up to 39 cards and costs at most 390 credits. Starting a full result for a new destination requires at least 390 credits, but only successfully delivered cards are charged.

Add more delivers up to six new cards for at most 60 credits. If your balance covers fewer cards, the maximum is reduced to the number it covers at 10 credits per card. A balance below 10 credits cannot fund a new recommendation. Unspent credits remain in the account balance.

The starter allowance is 570 credits on registration. It uses the same balance and charging rules; Add more is paid from that balance rather than a separate allowance of free requests. Purchased credits are added to the remaining balance. Deleting and recreating an account does not automatically entitle you to another starter allowance.

Viewing or opening existing recommendations, saving, deleting or sorting places, creating lists or collections, reopening results and sharing existing content do not consume credits.

Credit packs contain 1,000, 1,800 or 4,000 credits. The total price of the offered pack, including applicable taxes, is displayed before payment. The price confirmed when placing an order governs that order; a later price change does not change a completed purchase. Our payment provider handles card payments.

Before committing to payment, you are entitled to the applicable conditions of sale, the pack’s contents, price, eligible uses and material technical restrictions. You are also entitled to confirmation of the concluded contract and the applicable withdrawal information on a durable medium, such as email.

Credits are assigned to the purchasing account after successful payment confirmation. If a charge succeeds but your balance does not update, contact support@arie.guide with the purchase reference. Do not send full payment-card details. We investigate and correct a confirmed delivery or balance error.

Starter and purchased credits have no expiry date and do not expire merely because time passes or the account is inactive. Credits belong to the account to which they are granted or sold. They cannot be transferred, gifted, resold or exchanged between accounts. They cannot be redeemed for cash except where a refund is required by applicable law.

7. Failed requests and payment errors

Failed requests, duplicate recommendations, cards not added or made available, results that could not be saved and zero-result requests do not consume credits. Charges are calculated after successful delivery and are not duplicated for the same operation.

If an action fails or a technical problem prevents it from being completed correctly, we restore the credits charged for the affected action or undelivered part of the result after checking the failure. Contact support@arie.guide with the action date or request reference if the balance has not been corrected. Credit restoration does not replace a monetary refund or other remedy where applicable law requires one.

Contact us about a duplicate payment, incorrect amount or missing purchase. You do not have to close your account or abandon a statutory right to ask us to correct an error.

Liking a recommendation or marking it Not for me does not itself reverse its credit charge. We do not offer automatic credit refunds solely because a recommendation does not match subjective taste. This does not exclude remedies for a service that fails to meet its contractual description, technical failures, billing errors or mandatory consumer rights.

8. Withdrawal and refunds

For an eligible distance purchase, you have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to notify us of withdrawal without giving a reason. Use the model notice below or another clear statement sent to support@arie.guide or our registered address before the deadline. The withdrawal function on the ordering interface must also be available throughout the applicable withdrawal period; email and postal requests remain available.

For a valid withdrawal, we reimburse sums due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without additional fees.

Buying credits, logging in or accepting these terms alone does not remove withdrawal rights. If a service starts early at your express request, any proportionate amount payable for work supplied before withdrawal depends on the statutory conditions. Loss of a withdrawal right for fully performed services or digital content requires the applicable express request, acknowledgement and confirmation requirements to be satisfied; it is not assumed here.

We do not offer voluntary cash refunds for a change of mind, unused credits or subjective dissatisfaction with a recommendation. Technical failures are handled through credit restoration as explained above. These commercial rules do not exclude statutory withdrawal, conformity remedies, refunds for incorrect or duplicate charges, or other mandatory consumer rights.

9. Statutory conformity rights

SLOT Tech SAS is responsible for the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to its digital content and services. Contact support@arie.guide or our registered address to request a remedy. A credit pack does not replace these rights with a voluntary warranty.

Distinct supplies of generated recommendations and continuing account, storage and access services are covered according to their respective supply model. Qualifying defects in a distinct supply are covered for two years from supply. Continuing features are covered throughout the contractual period during which they are supplied, until lawful termination; buying a one-time pack does not shorten that period.

Where the legal conditions apply, you can require conformity without charge, undue delay or major inconvenience. A price reduction or termination with reimbursement may be available where conformity is refused, fails, is unjustifiably delayed, or the defect justifies an immediate remedy. Necessary conformity and security updates remain subject to the applicable statutory obligations.

The French statutory information boxes below set out the rules for distinct and continuing digital supplies. They apply alongside these terms; an English summary does not replace the French statutory notices. Other mandatory consumer remedies remain available.

10. Third-party places, links and purchases

Venue operators and external ticket or booking providers are responsible for their own offers. If you follow an external link and buy from another provider, that transaction is with the identified provider under its own conditions. Arie’s credit purchase terms do not govern that third-party purchase.

Arie receives a commission when a qualifying booking is completed on a partner’s website through an affiliate link. These commissions do not influence which places we recommend or their ranking. Affiliate links are identified where presented. Bookings and booking payments take place with the partner; SLOT Tech does not sell or fulfil those bookings. Arie does not promise that every available place or provider is included.

11. Service changes, suspension and closure

We may make proportionate changes needed for security, legal compliance, compatibility or maintaining the service. Changes beyond what is necessary for conformity remain subject to the rules applying to digital services, including advance information and a right to end the contract where required. Paid entitlements are not removed retroactively merely by changing these terms.

We notify account holders of significant changes to these terms. An update does not retrospectively change the price of a completed purchase or remove mandatory remedies. The account relationship continues until it is ended; individual credit purchases are one-time orders, without automatic renewal.

We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, fraud, a security threat or a material breach. Where circumstances allow, we explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the problem. Urgent protective action may precede notice. You can challenge a restriction through support@arie.guide.

You can delete your account in account settings or request deletion at support@arie.guide. Deletion removes access to the account, its content and its remaining credit balance. Before confirming deletion, review any unused credits; they cannot be transferred to another account. Voluntary account deletion does not itself create a discretionary cash refund, but it does not waive statutory refunds, unresolved purchase claims or other mandatory remedies. If we discontinue a paid service, remedies due for undelivered paid entitlements remain available. Personal-data deletion and limited lawful retention are explained in the Privacy policy.

12. Intellectual property and responsibility

Arie’s software, brand, design and original material are protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the service for its intended purpose. Other use requires permission or a legal exception. Third-party rights remain with their owners.

Each party is responsible under applicable law for its own obligations. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or require consumers to waive statutory rights, accept compulsory arbitration, or provide an unlimited indemnity. The limitations concerning recommendations do not excuse a failure to perform our own contractual obligations.

13. Complaints, mediation and governing law

Send a written complaint to support@arie.guide so we can investigate and seek a resolution. Consumers are entitled to free consumer mediation for an unresolved dispute under the applicable conditions. SLOT Tech has not yet appointed a consumer mediator. The mediator’s identity and referral details must be added before these sales terms take effect; contacting support does not replace this right.

French law applies, while preserving any mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence where applicable. You may bring proceedings before a court competent under applicable law. These terms do not impose exclusive Paris jurisdiction on consumers.

14. Model withdrawal notice

Complete and send this notice only if you wish to withdraw from an eligible purchase. You may instead use another unambiguous statement.

French statutory guarantee notices

The prescribed French notices below cover distinct supplies and continuing service. The English explanation appears in section 9.

1° Le professionnel refuse de mettre le contenu numérique ou le service numérique en conformité ;

2° La mise en conformité du contenu numérique ou du service numérique est retardée de manière injustifiée ;

3° La mise en conformité du contenu numérique ou du service numérique ne peut intervenir sans frais imposés au consommateur ;

4° La mise en conformité du contenu numérique ou du service numérique occasionne un inconvénient majeur pour le consommateur ;
